Omega “Seamaster Automatic” men’s Modern design wristwatch in stainless steel and 14K yellow gold, circa 1961.
This “Seamaster” has a stainless case with a 14K yellow gold cap. It is excellent condition showing only light wear. Caseback is excellent, showing only light wear to the Hippocampus medallion. Case measures 40mm long and 35mm wide. Original gloss black dial is excellent, has gold applied Omega logo and gilt printing, showing some light patina and just a few faint marks. Hands and crowns are replacements. Has new acrylic crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel caliber 550 Omega automatic movement, just serviced and running well. Comes on lightly used modern Omega strap.
