The “Eldorado” has the same case as the “Black Knight” model, but with a gold finish honeycomb textured dial. The “Eldorado” seems to be far less common than the “Black Knight” and was priced at $79.50 in 1954. This example is in crisp, excellent condition showing only a few tiny specks of brassing to the highpoints of the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with a small area of wear at the opening tab. The case measures 41mm long and 27mm wide. Original gold finish dial is superb, has solid gold applied fancy numerals and markers. Has new glass crystal. Watch is powered by its correct 21-jewel Elgin grade 680 manual wind movement, just serviced and running well.
