Very scarce Hamilton “Raleigh Engraved” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1932.
This final version of the “Raleigh Engraved” has an Art Deco stylized leaf pattern engraved on the bezel and is much scarcer than the keystone pattern engraved version usually seen, and even more so with the etched dial #054. The total produced of both engraving patterns was only 4,933 watches and this is one of only a few I have ever offered. It is in very good condition with light brassing to the bezel corners. The caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 39mm long and 29mm wide. Etched dial is very good, has gold Gothic numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F manual wind movement, just serviced and running well.
