Elgin “Rectangular” ladies’ Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1926.
This early watch has a rectangular, cut-corner case with ornate engravings. This example is in excellent condition showing only light wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 33mm long and 18mm wide. Original two-tone dial is very good, has exploding numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 482 manual wind movement, just serviced and running well. Has new dark blue grosgrain ribbon with period white gold fill clasp.
