Scarce Elgin “Home Run 681” men’s Modern design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1931.
The “Home Run 681” was priced to consumers at $37.50 in 1931. This is the first example I have offered in many years. It is in excellent condition with only light brassing to the bezel corners and one tiny reverse ding above the 12. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 35mm long and 28mm wide. Original new old stock dial is superb. Glass crystal is excellent. This watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 428 manual wind movement.
