Rare Hamilton “Turner” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 10K white gold fill, circa 1936.
The “Turner” has a very distinct, casket-shaped case and was priced at $37.50 in 1936. It is rare in white, only 420 were produced and this one of the very few I have seen in any color with the black enamel painted numeral dial. This example is in excellent condition with only a few specks of brassing to the bezel corners and a touch to the tips of the lugs, plus a few light marks and nicks to the bezel. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with only a tiny speck of brassing in each corner. The case measures 39mm long and 27mm wide. Refinished dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. Has correct, original crown. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-E manual wind movement.
