Scarce Hamilton “Grant” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill, circa 1934.
The “Grant” is a fairly elusive watch, with only 6,494 produced in 10K yellow gold fill. It was priced to consumers at $45.00 in 1934. This is the finest “Grant” I have ever offered and is in crisp, near mint condition. It has razor sharp case edges with no brassing and shows all of its original factory-applied brushed finish. Caseback is superb and unengraved. Case measures 36mm long and 28mm wide. Original linen-textured dial is superb, has solid 18K gold applied numerals. Glass crystal is superb. Original crown is superb. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987-F manual wind movement, just serviced and running well.
