Extremely rare Hamilton “Cambridge” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1931.
The “Cambridge” has a massive, hexagonal gold case and is one of the classic early Hamilton rarities, a mere 357 were produced in white gold. It was priced to consumers at $125.00 in 1931. This example is in excellent condition showing only the slightest indications of wear. Caseback is excellent and retains most of its brushed finish, and bears a name engraving. The case measures 36mm long and 27mm wide. Dial is excellent. Glass crystal is excellent. This watch is powered by its correct 19 jewel Hamilton grade 979-F adjusted movement.
