Extremely rare Hamilton “Turner” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 10K white gold fill, circa 1935.
The “Turner” has a very distinct, casket-shaped case and elegant applied gold markers. It is extremely rare in white, only 420 were produced and this is only the second example I have offered in 10 years. It was priced at $40.00 in 1935 with the gold marker dial. This example is in fair condition showing moderate brassing to the lugs and bezel corners and some dings. The watch obviously gave many years of faithful service. Caseback is good and unengraved, with some areas of light wear. The case measures 39mm long and 27mm wide. Original dial is good and has solid 18K gold applied markers. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Hamilton grade 987-E movement.
