Elgin “Home Run 1629” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in chromium nickel with black enamel bezel, circa 1932.
The “Home Run 1629” has stylized Art Deco geometric designs inlaid with black enamel. This example is in good condition showing light scratching to the bezel. Caseback is fair and unengraved, and exhibits typical pitting. The case measures 36mm long and 28mm wide. Dial has been beautifully restored to its correct original appearance with polished gold stylized Egyptian embossed numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 7 jewel Elgin grade 430 movement.
