Rare Hamilton “Touraine” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1940.
The “Touraine” was offered one year only... 1940... and is quite rare. This is one of only three examples I have ever offered in 20 years. Priced at $90.00 in 1940, the “Touraine” has a simple square case with a faceted bezel and lugs. This example is in excellent condition showing only light wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 35mm long and 23mm wide. Two-tone dial is very good. Has new glass crystal. This watch has a 19-jewel Hamilton grade 982M movement.
