Elgin “Model E-1” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K green gold fill with original box, circa 1928.
The “E-1” has a simple cushion case with Art Deco engravings along the sides. This example is in excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is excellent and has an elaborate Masonic presentation from 1928. The case measures 34mm long and 27mm wide. Original dial is superb, with gold embossed stylized Egyptian numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 430 movement.
