Scarce Elgin “Engraved Tank” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1927.
This early jobber-cased Elgin wristwatch has an ornately engraved case made by the Elgin Giant Watch Case Co. It is in crisp, excellent condition showing only slight wear. The caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 39mm long and 27mm wide. New old stock dial is superb, has silver inlaid numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15-jewel Elgin grade 428 movement.
