Very rare Hamilton “Enamel Tonneau” ladies’ Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1927.
Offered only in 1927, the “Enamel Tonneau” has geometric designs inlaid with black enamel. It was priced at $51.00 in 1927 and is very rare, with only 258 watches produced. This example is in excellent condition with light brassing to the bezel corners and slight enamel loss. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with one small ding. The case measures 32mm long and 28mm wide. Original fancy dial is very good. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Hamilton grade 987 movement.
