Lord Elgin “Clubman” men’s Retro Modern design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1951.
The “Clubman” has black inlay around the bezel and a waffle-textured dial. It was priced at $79.50 in 1951. It is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. Black inlay is superb and complete. Caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 39mm long and 30mm wide. Dial is very good. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 21-jewel Elgin grade 556 movement. Black inlaid period stretch bracelet has is excellent, with a little inlay missing on the bottom links.
