Elgin “Model E-4” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1928.
The “Model E-4” has a small round case with alternating panels of Art Deco engraved designs and lugs with fantastic wing-like engravings that flare toward the bezel. It was priced at $47.50 in 1928. This example is in crisp, excellent condition showing no brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 34mm long and 28mm wide. Original embossed gold numeral dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 430 movement.
