Elgin “Multicolor I” men’s Modern design wristwatch in 10K yellow rolled gold plate and stainless steel, circa 1962.
This sophisticated round design has a fantastic multi-colored gilt textured dial and matching multicolored bracelet. It was priced at $59.50 in 1962. It is in excellent condition with no brassing. Steel caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 38mm long and 33mm wide. Original multi-colored gilt dial is excellent. Acrylic crystal is excellent. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Elgin grade 889 Swiss movement. Original matching multi-colored gilt bracelet is excellent, showing only light wear.
