Scarce Hamilton “Ross” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1942.
The “Ross” is quite scarce in white gold fill, and was cataloged only in 1940 and 1941. It was priced to consumers at $55.00. This is one of the few examples I have ever offered, and is in crisp, excellent condition with only a few tiny specks of brassing to the lug tips. Caseback is excellent, with a 1942 presentation engraving. The case measures 37mm long and 24mm wide. Original two-tone coral and chromium blue finish silver inlaid dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 19-jewel Hamilton grade 982 movement.
