Stunning Gruen “Quadron” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1929.
One of the most striking Gruen designs in the Quadron series, this watch has amazing Art Deco stylized geometric patterns engraved on the bezel. It was priced to consumers at $65.00 in 1929. It is in excellent condition showing only the slightest indications of wear. Curved caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 37mm long and 22mm wide. Dial has been beautifully restored to its correct original appearance with a silver Butler finish and bold, Art Deco luminous numerals and matching hands. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 15 jewel Gruen grade 157 Quadron movement.
