Scarce Elgin “States 699” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in two-tone 14K white and yellow gold fill, circa 1929.The “States 699” has a very large rectangular case in white gold filled with the beveled edges of the bezel overlaid in yellow gold fill. It is quite scarce, this is one of only 3 I have ever seen. It is in excellent condition with only a few specks of brassing to the bezel corners. Yellow gold fill bezel overlay shows slight wear and one small ding. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 46mm long and 28mm wide. Original dial is excellent, has gold embossed Art Deco numerals. Glass crystal is excellent. Watch is powered by its correct 7 jewel Elgin grade 430 movement.
