Very scarce Elgin “Model E-4” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in two-tone 14K green and white gold fill, circa 1927.

The “Model E-4” has a small round case with alternating panels of Art Deco engraved designs and lugs with fantastic wing-like engravings that flare toward the bezel.  Normally found in either all white gold fill or all green gold fill, two-tone examples of this model are quite scarce.  And this example especially unusual in that it is a reverse two-tone... green bezel and caseback, with white center body.  All case serial numbers match.  It is in excellent condition with only a tiny amount of brassing to the edges of the lugs.  Caseback is excellent and unengraved.  The case measures 34mm long and 28mm wide.  Dial has been restored to its correct original appearance with a silver Butler finish and luminous numerals.  Has new glass crystal.  The watch is powered by its correct 7 jewel Elgin grade 430 movement.
