Uncommon Hamilton “Putnam” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1933.The “Putnam” is Hamilton’s most dramatically stepped Art Deco design wristwatch from the 1930s. Hamilton produced 6,901 in yellow gold fill. This example is in excellent condition with only very light brassing to the lugs and steps. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with only one tiny speck of wear. Underside of lugs show a tiny amount of wear. Case measures 34mm long and 28mm wide. Two-tone dial has been restored to its correct original appearance with a silver Butler and parchment white finish and solid 18K gold applied numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Hamilton grade 987-F movement.
