Rare Elgin “Blue Enamel Bezel” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in chromium nickel with blue enamel bezel, circa 1927.
Perhaps the most elusive of the lower cost enamel Elgin wristwatches, this model has blue enamel numerals and stylized blue enamel triangular designs in the bezel corners. This is the only example of this rare watch I have ever offered, it is very rare. It is in excellent condition showing only a few minor scratches to the chromium finish. Blue enamel is super and complete. Caseback is very good with some dents. Case measures 39mm long and 30mm wide. Original dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 7 jewel Elgin grade 463 movement.
