Scarce Hamilton “Tonneau” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1928.
The “Tonneau” is scarce in solid gold; only 1,896 were sold in white. It was priced to consumers at $85.00 in 1928. This example is in crisp, excellent condition showing only slight wear. The caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 34mm long and 28mm wide. Refinished two-tone luminous dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel grade 987 Hamilton movement.
