Elgin “Model E-1” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1928.
The “E-1” has a simple cushion case with Art Deco engravings along the sides. This example is in crisp, near mint condition showing no wear. Caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 34mm long and 27mm wide. Refinished dial is superb, has gold inlaid exploding numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 7-jewel Elgin grade 430 movement.
