Scarce Waltham “Rally Sport Diver” men’s Modern design wristwatch in stainless steel, circa 1973.
This model has a large, chunky steel case with a black and yellow rotating elapsed-time bezel, plus a spectacular 4-color rally design dial. This is the only example I have ever seen of this watch. It is in excellent condition showing only a few light marks and scratches. Black and yellow bezel is excellent, with one small crack near the 4-minute marker. Stainless steel caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 41mm long and 39mm wide. Original dial is superb, has a metallic silver snowflake finish with the rally design in yellow, black, and blue, plus white luminous markers and hands. Acrylic crystal is excellent. Watch is powered by its correct 25-jewel Waltham Swiss automatic movement. Fitted with an orange NATO style strap. Can be fitted with black leather lizard-grain upon request.
