Rare Hamilton “Mason” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 10K white gold fill, circa 1935.
Offered only in 1935, the “Mason” is rare in white gold fill, with only 1,049 watches produced. It has a simple Streamlined Moderne tonneau-shaped case with a subtle bezel step and a thin groove along the sides of the case. With the black enamel painted numeral dial, the “Mason” was priced to consumers at $37.50 in 1935. Not an easy watch to find without significant wear, this example is in excellent condition with only a light brassing to the highpoints of the bezel corners and lugs. Caseback is excellent, with a monogram. The case measures 37mm long and 27mm wide. Dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Hamilton grade 987-F movement.
