Hamilton “Wilshire” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1941.
The “Wilshire” is fairly uncommon when found with the two-tone gilt dial. This is the first I have offered in several years. It priced to consumers at $52.50. This example is in excellent condition with only a speck or two of brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 50mm long and 22mm wide. Dial has been beautifully refinished to its correct original appearance with a two-tone brushed gilt finish and black painted exploding Roman numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 19 jewel Hamilton grade 982 movement.
