Scarce Elgin “Model E-12” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in two-tone 14K green and white gold fill enamel bezel, circa 1928.
This striking Elgin has everything one could ask for in an Art Deco design wristwatch... a two-tone case and fantastic green and black enamel Southwestern geometric designs on the bezel. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with just a few specks of brassing to the lugs. Enamel is superb and complete. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with one small ding. Case measures 35mm long and 29mm wide. Dial has been restored to its correct original appearance with a parchment white finish, polished gold embossed Egyptian-style numerals and luminous hands and marker dots. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Elgin grade 489 movement.
