Beautiful Gruen “Curvex Collegian” men’s Retro-Modern design wristwatch in 10K pink gold fill, circa 1940.
This “Curvex Collegian” has an elegant Retro Modern-styled case with sculpted. This example is in excellent condition showing only light brassing to the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 34mm long and 24mm wide. Original dial is fantastic and has a two-tone copper Butler finish and black enamel Roman numerals and markers. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Gruen grade 440 Curvex Precision movement.
