Gruen “Browning” men’s Space Age design wristwatch in 10K white gold fill, circa 1955.
This Gruen has a large, elliptical and stepped case with hooded lugs that give it the appearance of a flying saucer. This is the fist example of this watch I have seen in white. It is in excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 38mm long and 34mm wide. Refinished black dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. Movement is a 17-jewel Gruen grade 415.
