Scarce Bulova “Engineer” men’s Retro Modern design wristwatch in 14K pink gold fill, with matching bracelet, circa 1941.
The “Engineer” has rectangular case with prominent streamlined bullet-shaped lugs. It is in excellent condition with only a very light touch of brassing to the highpoints of the lugs and a small area on the bezel near the crown. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 33mm long and 22mm wide. Dial has been restored to its correct original appearance with a copper finish and black painted exploding numerals. Has new glass crystal. Matching pink gold filled bracelet is fair and shows quite a bit of wear, but still presentable. Watch is powered by its correct 21 jewel Bulova grade 8AE movement.
