Uncommon Hamilton “Myron” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 10K coral gold fill with original box, circa 1941.
Hamilton produced coral (pink) wristwatches for only a year or two around the beginning of World War II... all models in pink are somewhat scarce due to their limited production and the “Myron“ was catalogued in coral in 1941 only. This example is in excellent condition with only a tiny amount of brassing to the lugs. Caseback is superb and unengraved. Case measures 37mm long and 23mm wide. Original coral finish dial is excellent, has rhodium-plated solid 18K gold numerals. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Hamilton grade 980 movement. Original cardboard box is excellent and correct for this model, the brown velvet lining was used exclusively for the coral watches.
