Lord Elgin “Model 4504” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1942.
The “Model 4504” has a small square rectangular case with faceted, hooded lugs. It was priced to consumers at $100.00 in 1942. This example is in crisp, excellent condition showing only light wear. Case retains most of its factory-applied alternating brushed and polished finish. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 36mm long and 20mm wide. Dial is excellent, with one small scratch neat the edge at 2. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 21 jewel Elgin grade 559 adjusted movement.
