Scarce Hamilton “Langley” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1929.
Named for early American aviation pioneer Samuel Langley, the “Langley” was priced to consumers at $90.00 in 1929 and is fairly scarce, with only 2,640 produced in white gold. This example is in excellent condition showing only light wear. Hinged caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 37mm long and 27mm wide. Refinished inlaid enamel dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Hamilton grade 987 movement.
