Elgin “Day Date 4801” men’s Modern design wristwatch in stainless steel, circa 1970.
This large chunky 70’s watch has a two-tone blue and gray dial, with Roman numeral markers. It is in excellent condition showing light wear, with some scratches. Caseback is very good, with some scratches. Case measures 43mm long and 42mm wide. Original blue and gray dial is superb. Acrylic crystal is excellent. Day and date feature is quick-set. The watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Elgin 338 movement.
