Scarce Lord Elgin “Scarsdale” men’s Retro Modern design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold, circa 1958.
The “Scarsdale” is very scarce in white, this is the first one I’ve ever seen. It was priced at $125.00 in 1958. It is in excellent condition showing only very light wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 38mm long and 23mm wide. Dial is excellent, with applied gold numerals and luminous dots. Has new domed acrylic crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 23 jewel Elgin grade 730 movement.
