Illinois “Gloria” ladies’ Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K yellow gold fill, circa 1932.
The “Gloria” has a wonderful stepped and ribbed case, and was priced to consumers at $45.00 in 1932. It is excellent condition showing only a minor touch of brassing to the highpoints of the case. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with one tiny speck of wear. The case measures 30mm long and 17mm wide. Dial has been beautifully restored to its correct original appearance with a parchment white finish and black painted numerals. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Illinois grade 807A movement.
