Rare Hamilton “Hastings” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1930.
The “Hastings” has a simple square case with rounded corners, giving it a very streamlined look. It was priced to consumers at $85.00 in 1930. Usually found in gold fill, solid gold examples of the “Hastings” are rare, with only 1,240 watches produced; this is the first I have offered in over 10 years. It is in excellent condition showing only light wear. The caseback is excellent and unengraved. Case measures 34mm long and 28mm wide. Black enamel printed dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel grade 987-F Hamilton movement.
