Rare Bulova “Asymmetric Enamel” ladies’ Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill with black enamel, with original box, circa 1928.
Closely resembling the Elgin “Madame Premet” with its asymmetric black enamel bezel, this is the first example I have seen of the Bulova version of this design. It is in near mint condition with no wear. Enamel is superb and complete. Hinged caseback is superb, with a monogram. The case measures 28mm long and 15mm wide. Original dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 15 jewel Bulova 6AP movement. Has new black grosgrain ribbon and original signed Bulova buckle.
