Scarce Bulova “Rite-Angle” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in 10K yellow rolled gold plate, circa 1938.

The black and gray dial version of the “Rite-Angle” is very difficult to find. The “Rite-Angle” features a fantastic sleek, streamlined and triple-stepped case that is inclined toward the top of the dial, raising the dial just enough to meet the normal line of vision, thus making the time easier to read at a glance. It was priced at $29.75 in 1938. This example is in excellent with only a tiny touch of brassing to the tips of the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with only very light wear at the edges. Case measures 39mm long and 24mm wide. Original two-tone black and gray dial with exploding silver numerals is very good, with some spotting. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Bulova grade 8AM movement.
