Scarce Hamilton “Spencer” men’s Retro Modern design Masonic wristwatch in solid 10K yellow gold, circa 1953.
The “Spencer” normally came with an elegant applied gold numeral dial, but was also offered with a special dial with Masonic symbols in printed in 24K gold, priced to consumers at $90.00 in 1953. This is the first example I have seen with the special Masonic dial. This example is in crisp, excellent condition showing only the very slightest indications of wear. Caseback is excellent and unengraved, with one tiny pinpoint ding. Case measures 38mm long and 26mm wide. Original Masonic dial is superb. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Hamilton grade 747 adjusted movement.
