Rare Elgin “Model 210” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in solid 14K white gold with black and white enamel, circa 1929.

One of the rarest and most desirable Elgin designs from the 1920s, the “Model 210” has a solid 14K white gold hinged case inlaid with black and white enamel geometric designs, made by the obscure Strauss & Neugass case company. It was priced to consumers at $65.00 in 1929. This example is in excellent condition showing only slight wear. The black and white enamel is superb and complete. Hinged caseback is excellent, with a presentation inscription from 1936. The case measures 35mm long and 24mm wide. Refinished dial is superb, has gold embossed numerals and luminous hands. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 15 jewel Elgin grade 444 movement.
