Hamilton “Gilman” men’s Streamline Moderne design wristwatch in solid 14K yellow gold, circa 1947.
The “Gilman” is a large watch and was priced to consumers at $150.00 in 1947. This is the first I have offered in quite some time. It is in excellent condition showing only very light wear, plus one very faint ding to the bezel below the sub-seconds chapter. Caseback is excellent, with an etched presentation engraving. Case measures 43mm long and 22mm wide. Refinished dial is excellent. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 19 jewel Hamilton grade 982M movement.
