Elgin “Model 5705” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 10K white gold fill, circa 1947.
The “Model 5705” has a square, stepped case and is usually found with a dark gray dial. However, I have replaced it with a rose-colored dial usually found on the yellow model. This example is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 35mm long and 26mm wide. Roes-finish dial is very good.. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Elgin grade 555 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong.
