Benrus “Citation Cedric” men’s Retro Modern design wristwatch in 10K yellow gold fill with original bracelet and box, circa 1955.
The “Cedric” has a faceted case and was priced at $85.00 in 1955. It is in crisp, excellent condition with no brassing, just a few light scratches. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 41mm long and 26mm wide. Original dial is excellent with some very tiny age spots, has solid 14K gold applied numerals and markers. Has new domed acrylic crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17-jewel Benrus grade B01 manual wind movement, just serviced and running strong. Original Benrus-marked gold filled stretch bracelet shows light wear and some dings on the underside; red plastic box is excellent. I will also furnish the black leather band pictured if desired.
