Scarce Elgin “Campus 936” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in chromium nickel with black enamel bezel, circa 1934.
This striking Elgin wristwatch has a beveled case and Art Deco geometric engraved bezel designs inlaid with black enamel. This example is in excellent condition with its frosted chromium finish intact on the bezel. Caseback has some very minor pitting to the chromium finish, but is unengraved and otherwise excellent. The case measures 37mm long and 22mm wide. Dial has been beautifully refinished to its correct original appearance with a silver Butler finish and luminous numerals and matching hands. Has new glass crystal. Comes with vintage gray strap in excellent condition. The watch is powered by a 15 jewel Elgin grade 484 movement.
