Elgin “Home Run 1629” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in chromium nickel, circa 1928.
The “Home Run 1629” has stylized Art Deco geometric designs inlaid with black enamel. This example is in good condition showing light scratching to the bezel. Caseback is fair and unengraved, and exhibits typical pitting. The case measures 36mm long and 28mm wide. Original dial is excellent and has gold embossed stylized Egyptian numerals. Glass crystal is excellent. The watch is powered by its correct 7 jewel Elgin grade 430 movement.
