Elgin “Model E-4” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1927.
The “Model E-4” has a small round case with alternating panels of Art Deco engraved designs and lugs with fantastic wing-like engravings that flare toward the bezel. This example is in excellent condition with only a tiny amount of brassing to the edges of the lugs. Caseback is excellent and unengraved. The case measures 34mm long and 28mm wide. Dial has been restored to its correct original appearance with a silver Butler finish and luminous numerals and hands. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 7 jewel Elgin grade 430 movement.
