Beautiful Bulova “Curtis” men’s Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill, circa 1928.
The “Curtis” has a large rectangular case with ornate engravings and black enamel designs on the bezel and lugs and was priced to consumers at $42.50 in 1928. This example is in crisp, near mint condition showing no wear, just a few light marks. Black enamel is perfect. Hinged caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 36mm long and 25mm wide. Dial has been beautifully restored to its correct original appearance with a silver Butler finish and luminous numeral and hands. Has new glass crystal. The watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Bulova grade 9AN movement.
