Rare Illinois “Miami” ladies’ Art Deco design wristwatch in 14K white gold fill with sea green and black enamel, circa 1930.
The “Miami” has an ornately engraved Art Deco octagonal case with fantastic sea green and black enamel geometric designs. Quite expensive for a ladies’ model, it was priced at $55.00 in 1930. This example is in near mint condition with no brassing. Enamel is superb and complete. Caseback is superb and unengraved. The case measures 31mm long and 18mm wide. Dial has been beautifully restored to its correct original appearance with a white finish and gold embossed numerals. Has new glass crystal. This watch is powered by its correct 17 jewel Illinois grade 206 movement.
